Meet our Butchers

Steve Prince

Steve entered the trade at the age of 15 at Dewhurst in Woking, and he still has the same passion to this day. He prides himself in sourcing quality meats, as local as possible, so we can give our customers the finest produce available.

He is a Manchester United supporter, and his hobbies include going to car shows, fishing and the occasional beer.

Sam Pidduck

Sam Prince

Sam is the youngest member of staff here at Prince and Son's, however that certainly doesn't hold him back! Sam joined his family business in September 2017, and has loved every minute of it! Sam looks forward to hopefully many successful years here in the heart of Horsell. His passions include watching a lot of football, and socialising with his friends.

Sam started with us back in October 2015, from a small farm shop the other side of Reading. Sam is a fantastic young member of the team, very creative and also a good cook, so cooking advice and ideas are always on hand. Since being with us, he has worked his way up to the managers position, and takes on the daily running of the shop when Steve isn't around. His hobbies include running a miniature railway.

Richard Warner

Richard, along with Steve, has been in the butchery trade for over 40 years, and comes with a wealth of experience. He has worked at the shop over the past few years and now joins us on a permanent basis. An avid Woking and Leeds United supporter, Richard certainly knows how to crack a joke or two.
